Embry Riddle Aeronautical University

Daytona Beach, FL
600 S Clyde Morris Blvd
Daytona Beach, FL 32114-3900

Embry-Riddle graduates account for more than one-fourth of all commercial airline pilots in the United States. Further, the University has more commissioned officers and rated pilots in the Air Force than any other education or military institution, with the exception of the Air Force Academy.

It was on December 17, 1925, exactly 22 years after the historic flight of the Wright Flyer, that barnstormer John Paul Riddle and entrepreneur T. Higbee Embry founded the Embry-Riddle Company at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Today, Embry-Riddle University is located in Daytona Beach, FL, next to the Daytona Beach International Airport, and very close to Daytona International Speedway. More than 20,000 students are enrolled with Embry-Riddle at their Daytona Beach campus and Prescott, Ariz. Campus. Students come from all 50 states and from more than 100 countries.
