Bird watching is a favorite pastime on Lake Eaton. The dominant trees are oaks, palmetto and pine.

Nearest City: Ocala

Directions: From Ocala take SR 40 east 17.2 miles to CR 314A (in town of Forest Corners). Turn left onto Rt. 314A and go 4.5 miles to campground sign (Forest Rd. 96 - NE 49). Turn right onto Rt. 96 and go 0.3 to another campground sign (Forest Rd. 96A - NE 171 AV RD). Turn left onto Forest Rd. 96A and go 1 mile to campground. Number of Sites: 14 RV/Tent
