Course Knowledge: Fairways is one Orlando's older golf clubs that probably doesn't get the credit that it deserves. The course is part of an adjacent mobile home park facility and you must either own a mobile home or play as a guest of someone who does. The course on the short side, but it compensates for its lack of length by being extremely unforgiving. The course is tight, the greens are small and water comes into play on 15 of the 18 holes. The signature hole is the par 5, 530-yard, 5th, featuring a water-lined fairway with more water crossing in front of the green; deciding whether to go for the green or lay up short could be a tough decision. |
