Course Knowledge: Formerly known as The Diamond Players Club - Wekiva, a new partnership recently purchased the facility and is pouring about $500,000 into renovations and improvements. Now called, Wekiva Golf Club, the course is consistently among the best manicured and conditioned courses around Central Florida. The Wekiva course is renowned for its aesthetic beauty and for its challenging layout. The fairways are lined with a variety of trees and no two fairways are parallel with each other. The azaleas and magnolias can give local golfers the sense of an 'Augusta-like' feeling. Prepare yourself for a real gut-check when you arrive at the signature hole, par 3 17th.
