Location: The Wetlands are located 40 minutes east of downtown Orlando in Christmas, Florida on Wheeler Road. Fees: None. Water: There is a water fountain within the park. Hours: 8am - 1/2 hour before sunset. Closed October 1 to January 20. Camping: None. Activities: Hiking, jogging, bird watching, wildflower appreciation, nature photography, picnicing, and bicycling. Maps: Located at the information board. While you're there, pick up a birdwatching guide. |

Orlando Wetlands is a quiet corner of the Iron Bridge Wetlands. The wetland is man made and provides a wildlife habitat while reclaiming treated water for the area. The park features a 4 mile hiking/jogging trail, 18 miles of roadways for biking and access to the Florida Trail.
